Here are Wednesday’s winning lottery numbers: The estimated Powerball jackpot is $45 million. The lump sum payment before taxes would be about $20.7 million.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. According to USA TODAY, the “Power Play” option costs an extra $1 per play and can multiply non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5, or even 10 times. The “Double Play” option is also an additional $1 per play. Meaning that a single ticket could cost a total of $4 if both “Power Play” and “Double Play” are selected.

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $64 million for the January 3 drawing after no winner was declared on Wednesday. Players can choose between a 30-year annuity or a lump sum of approximately $29.

A Powerball jackpot run that lasted more than three months came to an end on Christmas Eve. In Maryland, five players won big prizes.
