Hughesville, MD — A retired firefighter and lifelong lottery player from Prince George’s County turned decades of dedication into a six-figure win after his longtime Powerball numbers landed him a $150,000 prize in the December 10 drawing.

The Ohio Lottery tells 3News the winning ticket was sold at Acme Fresh Market #14, which is located at 3235 Manchester Road in Akron. The winning ticket, which had auto-pick numbers, matched the five main balls in the Powerball drawing -- but just missed the $126.3 million jackpot for failing to match the red Powerball.

After no grand prize winner on Jan. 10, the Powerball drawing for Jan. 12 is at $137 million with a cash value of $61.9 million. Did anyone win?
